Duties and responsibilities

Operate various machines to perform cutting, boring, drilling or bending operations according to plans and established tolerances
Read technical drawings, diagrams and work to be performed
Lay out, measure and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates
Set up the machine and choose the right dies
Perform bending and cutting operations using laser, plasma or computer-assisted shears
Grind and polish parts
Inspect the quality of parts based on requirements
Verify the quantity to produce based on the production order
Use overhead cranes, jib cranes or other lifting equipment
All other related tasks

Qualifications

Attestation of Vocational Studies (AEP) in production equipment operation or equivalent field
